Gissane Sophia has been writing diligently since she turned in a lengthy two-page book report in sixth grade. She took her passion for analyzing to a professional route by creating Marvelous Geeks Media in 2011 to write recaps for her favorite TV shows. After growing the website and expanding coverage, she took the reins as the editor-in-chief, where she now writes and edits full-time. Since then, she can also be found writing TV and film features for Looper and MovieWeb while co-hosting Lady Geeks Society, a romance podcast.
Education
Gissane holds a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing and a Master's in English Literature. Her thesis focused heavily on thematic arcs within the romance genre and young adult fiction.
